Raffle Wheel
Replace the sample tickets with your entrants, one per line, then spin to draw a winner.
No spins yet. Each pick is listed here in order.
About the raffle wheel
The wheel opens with 12 sample entries, “Ticket 1” to “Ticket 12”. Replace them with your real entrants, names or ticket numbers, one to a line. Each line is one slice, so with the sample tickets every slice has a 1 in 12 chance.
“Remove the winner after each spin” starts switched on for this raffle generator. A drawn entry leaves the wheel when the result window closes, so first, second and third prize go to different entries. Uncheck the box if a winner should stay in for the next prize.
Someone who holds three tickets goes on three lines. That gives them three slices and three times the chance of someone written once. The line under the wheel counts the entries and shows the chance of each slice, so you can check both before the first draw.
Draws to run with the raffle wheel
- School fair: switch to “Full screen” so the whole room can watch each prize being drawn.
- Club raffle: enter the ticket numbers you sold and spin once for every prize on the table.
- Stream giveaway: paste the entrants, share your screen and let viewers watch the giveaway picker choose.
- Prize wheel: type the prizes instead of the names and let each winner spin for one.
- Before the draw, press “Sort A to Z” to check that nobody is missing or listed more often than they should be.
How to use the wheel
- Type or paste your options, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter while you are in the list.
- Read the pick. Remove it from the wheel if nobody should be picked twice, then spin again.
How the pick is made
Before the wheel moves, your browser draws one slice at random with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for security keys. Every slice has the same chance. The spin you watch only plays that result out.
Nothing about the animation changes the outcome: not how hard you click, not how long the wheel turns, not the size of your screen. The pointer always stops inside a slice, never on a line.
Your list stays in your browser. A link you copy carries the list inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Questions about the raffle wheel
- How many entrants can the raffle wheel take?
- Up to 1,000. Past 150 entries the labels on the slices are hidden, so read the winner in the result window.
- Does this page sell tickets or run the raffle for me?
- No. It only draws an entry. Selling tickets, taking money, storing entrants, recording the draw and checking that a raffle follows local rules are the organizer’s job.
- Can I use it as a giveaway wheel for a social media post?
- Yes, once you paste the entrants in yourself. The page does not look anything up online, so it cannot gather names from a post or a chat.
- Where can I see who won each prize?
- On the Results tab, which lists the winners in the order they were drawn. It covers the current visit only, so copy the names down before you close the page.
