About the Dandy’s World wheel

Dandy’s World is a game on Roblox, and its playable characters are called Toons. The wheel holds 40 of them, as listed on the Dandy’s World Wiki, a wiki written by fans: 23 regular Toons, 5 main characters (Astro, Pebble, Shelly, Sprout and Vee) and 12 event Toons. Each group has its own button under “Choose a list”.

The 3 groups differ a lot in size, so the chance depends on the list you choose. With all 40 loaded each Toon has a 1 in 40 chance (2.5%). “Regular toons” alone gives 1 in 23 (4.35%), “Main characters” 1 in 5 (20%) and “Event toons” 1 in 12 (8.33%).

For a challenge with friends, switch on “Remove the winner after each spin” and take turns spinning. A Toon that has come up leaves the wheel, so each friend in the group gets a different one.

Ways to use the toon wheel

  • Spin for the Toon you play next when you cannot decide.
  • Draw the Toon that comes up, or spin twice and draw the two together.
  • Use “Main characters” to decide who in the group plays which of those 5.
  • Send friends the link from “Copy link to this wheel” so everyone spins the same list.

How to use the wheel

  1. Type or paste your options, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
  2. Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter while you are in the list.
  3. Read the pick. Remove it from the wheel if nobody should be picked twice, then spin again.

How the pick is made

Before the wheel moves, your browser draws one slice at random with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for security keys. Every slice has the same chance. The spin you watch only plays that result out.

Nothing about the animation changes the outcome: not how hard you click, not how long the wheel turns, not the size of your screen. The pointer always stops inside a slice, never on a line.

Your list stays in your browser. A link you copy carries the list inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded.

Questions about the Dandy’s World wheel

Why are Dandy and Dyle not on the wheel?
The wiki names them as Toons that only the game’s developers can use, so they are left off the wheel.
Does the wheel have the newest Toons?
Maybe not. The game changes with updates, so the wheel can be behind the game. The source and the date it was read are printed under the list, and you can type a new Toon’s name on a new line.
Does the wheel know which Toons I own?
No. It picks a name only. Delete the lines of the Toons you do not have, and your shorter list is saved in this browser for next time.
Is this wheel connected to the people who make Dandy’s World?
No. The wheel has no connection to Dandy’s World, to the people who develop it or to Roblox, and the site is not affiliated with any of them. The Toon names come from a wiki written by fans.
