About the Marvel Rivals wheel
Marvel Rivals is a team-based hero shooter video game with characters from Marvel Comics. The wheel holds the 54 playable heroes listed in the Wikipedia article on the game, sorted by the role the article gives each: Vanguards, Duelists and Strategists.
The wheel picks a name only. It does not know which heroes are available in a given match, so spin again when your pick cannot be played. One entry is written “Bruce Banner / Hulk”, the way the article writes it.
A team challenge needs one setting: “Remove the winner after each spin”. With it on, every hero that comes up leaves the wheel, so no two teammates get the same one. Spin once per player on one screen.
Ways to use a random hero in Marvel Rivals
- Spin before the next match and play whoever comes up.
- Try a role you never play: choose “Strategists” or “Vanguards” and spin inside it.
- Run a challenge where the whole team spins and nobody may swap.
- Pick one hero to learn this week: spin once and stick with the result.
How to use the wheel
- Type or paste your options, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter while you are in the list.
- Read the pick. Remove it from the wheel if nobody should be picked twice, then spin again.
How the pick is made
Before the wheel moves, your browser draws one slice at random with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for security keys. Every slice has the same chance. The spin you watch only plays that result out.
Nothing about the animation changes the outcome: not how hard you click, not how long the wheel turns, not the size of your screen. The pointer always stops inside a slice, never on a line.
Your list stays in your browser. A link you copy carries the list inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Questions about the Marvel Rivals wheel
- Why is Deadpool listed only under Duelists?
- The wheel lists each hero once: Deadpool appears in the article under all three roles and sits here under Duelists. With all heroes loaded that keeps his chance at 1 in 54, like everyone else.
- Is the newest hero on the wheel?
- Not necessarily. The game adds heroes over time, and the wheel shows the article as it stood on the date printed under the list. Add a newer hero by typing the name on a new line.
- What is the chance of getting one hero?
- It is 1 in 54 with all heroes loaded (1.85%). “Vanguards” alone gives 1 in 14 (7.14%), “Duelists” 1 in 28 (3.57%) and “Strategists” 1 in 12 (8.33%).
- Is this wheel connected to the makers of Marvel Rivals?
- No. This site is not connected to Marvel Rivals, its developers or Marvel, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them. The hero names are read from the Wikipedia article on the game.
