About the Minecraft build ideas wheel
The wheel opens with all 61 ideas in 5 groups: homes, a town street, big and fantasy builds, outdoors and gardens, and small details that fit into any build. Each group has its own button, so a player who already has a town can spin only for the street, and one with a free weekend can spin only the big builds.
Minecraft is a video game by Mojang Studios in which players build with blocks. Every idea here is written in everyday words, like a bakery with a striped awning or a waterfall with a cave behind it, and none of them names a block, an item or a command. That leaves the size, the materials and the style to whoever builds it.
For a build contest, switch on “Remove the winner after each spin” so that every round gets a different idea. For a twist, also spin the site’s Minecraft Wheel and fit the material or creature it lands on into the same build.
Ways to use a Minecraft build wheel
- Out of ideas: spin once and build whatever lands before you spin again.
- A contest with friends: everyone builds the same idea, then you tour each other’s versions.
- A building club: the leader spins one idea per meeting and each member makes their own take on it.
- A town project: keep spinning “Town street” until every spot on the road has a shop.
- Siblings side by side: each of you spins a home, then you build the two next door to each other.
How to use the wheel
- Type or paste your options, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter while you are in the list.
- Read the pick. Remove it from the wheel if nobody should be picked twice, then spin again.
How the pick is made
Before the wheel moves, your browser draws one slice at random with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for security keys. Every slice has the same chance. The spin you watch only plays that result out.
Nothing about the animation changes the outcome: not how hard you click, not how long the wheel turns, not the size of your screen. The pointer always stops inside a slice, never on a line.
Your list stays in your browser. A link you copy carries the list inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Questions about the Minecraft build ideas wheel
- Is this wheel connected to Minecraft or Mojang Studios?
- No. It is not affiliated with Minecraft, Mojang Studios or Microsoft. Minecraft appears in the page name only so you know which game the ideas suit.
- Where do the build ideas come from?
- They were written for this site. None is taken from the game, a server, a map or a contest.
- Is there a list of small, quick builds?
- Yes. “Small details” holds 12 short builds, such as a fountain or a bus stop, for when there is no time for a whole house.
- Can I add my own build ideas?
- Yes. Type each idea on a new line and the wheel adds a slice for it. Your list stays in this browser, and “Copy link to this wheel” makes a link that opens the same list for a friend.
