About the aesthetic wheel
This aesthetics wheel opens with all 69 style names. Under “Choose a list” you can keep to one of 6 groups: “Soft and cozy”, “Dark and moody”, “Bright and bold”, “Vintage and retro”, “Nature” or “Clean and polished”.
The list was written for this site. Nothing on it was copied from another website, an app, a game or a book. A parent or a teacher can check all of it first, because the full list sits on this page, one group after another.
For an outfit from your own closet, choose one group, then delete the names you could not put together today. The shorter list is saved in this browser, so your next visit starts from your version.
Things to make with a random aesthetic
- Outfit: spin, then put the look together from clothes you already own.
- Mood board: collect ten pictures that fit the name you spun.
- Drawing: redraw one of your own characters in the style that comes up.
- Room: sketch your bedroom as it would look in that aesthetic.
- Party: everyone spins and dresses to match, and the group guesses each aesthetic.
How to use the wheel
- Type or paste your options, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter while you are in the list.
- Read the pick. Remove it from the wheel if nobody should be picked twice, then spin again.
How the pick is made
Before the wheel moves, your browser draws one slice at random with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for security keys. Every slice has the same chance. The spin you watch only plays that result out.
Nothing about the animation changes the outcome: not how hard you click, not how long the wheel turns, not the size of your screen. The pointer always stops inside a slice, never on a line.
Your list stays in your browser. A link you copy carries the list inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Questions about the aesthetic wheel
- Does the aesthetic generator show what each style looks like?
- No. A slice holds a name and nothing else: no pictures, no description, and the page does not look anything up online. Search for a name you do not know before you start.
- Can I spin two aesthetics and mix them?
- Yes. Spin twice and combine the two names. If the same name comes up both times, spin once more.
- Can I add an aesthetic that is missing?
- Yes. Type it on a new line in the list and it gets a slice of its own, the same size as every other.
- Can everyone in a group get a different aesthetic?
- Yes. Turn on “Remove the winner after each spin” before the first player spins. A name that has been picked then leaves the wheel, so nobody after gets it.
