About the soccer team wheel
The wheel opens with all 126 clubs, sorted into 6 leagues: the Premier League (20), La Liga (20), the Bundesliga (18), Serie A (20), Ligue 1 (18) and Major League Soccer (30). Each league is also a button under “Choose a list”. Even with every club loaded the wheel stays under 150 entries, so all the names show on their slices.
The five European lists are the clubs of the 2026–27 season, and the MLS list is the clubs of the 2026 season, each taken from the Wikipedia article for that season. The wheel picks a name and nothing more. It does not follow results, transfers or changes between seasons; check the date printed under the list to see when those articles were read.
For a tournament among friends, switch on “Remove the winner after each spin” before the first draw. A club leaves the wheel once it is drawn, so nobody ends up with the same club, and the Results tab keeps the draw in order until you close the page.
Soccer picks for games, seasons and draws
- A video game career: spin one league and take charge of whichever club comes up.
- A club to follow: each person in the family spins once and roots for that club all season.
- A matchup maker: spin twice and play a friendly as those two clubs.
- A league quiz: one person spins the full wheel, and the room calls out which league the club belongs to, with this page’s list as the answer key.
How to use the wheel
- Type or paste your options, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter while you are in the list.
- Read the pick. Remove it from the wheel if nobody should be picked twice, then spin again.
How the pick is made
Before the wheel moves, your browser draws one slice at random with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for security keys. Every slice has the same chance. The spin you watch only plays that result out.
Nothing about the animation changes the outcome: not how hard you click, not how long the wheel turns, not the size of your screen. The pointer always stops inside a slice, never on a line.
Your list stays in your browser. A link you copy carries the list inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Questions about the soccer team wheel
- Can I use it as a Premier League team wheel?
- Yes. Press “Premier League” under “Choose a list”, and the wheel holds only its 20 clubs, a 1 in 20 chance each (5%).
- Why do some club names include FC and others don’t?
- Each name is written the way the Wikipedia articles write it in their table of stadiums and locations. Some of those names carry FC or CF, and some do not.
- What is the chance of each club with every league loaded?
- Each of the 126 clubs has a 1 in 126 chance, about 0.794%. Choosing one league raises that, and the line under the wheel shows the new figure.
- Is this site connected to the Premier League or any club?
- No. This is an independent site, not affiliated with or endorsed by any league, club or player. The club names are here only so the wheel has something to pick.
