About the Twister spinner
The wheel holds all 16 moves: left hand, right hand, left foot or right foot, each paired with red, blue, yellow or green. Every slice is painted the color it calls, so players on the mat can see the move from across the room before anyone reads it out. With everything loaded, each move has a 1 in 16 chance, which is 6.25%.
Twister is a party game where players put a hand or a foot on colored circles on a mat, and this page stands in for the spinner only. You still need the mat, and the wheel cannot see where anyone is standing. The moves were put together for this site from the four body parts and the four colors; they are not copied from the card in the game box.
Under “Choose a list”, each body part has its own button that loads just its 4 colors, a 1 in 4 chance each (25%). Press “Full screen” so the calls are big enough to read from the mat, and use the “Sound on” button to switch the ticking off when the room should stay quiet.
When a Twister wheel helps
- The spinner card is lost or bent: open the page on a phone and keep playing.
- A class or party game on a big screen, with every call shown in full screen.
- A feet-only round: load “Left foot” for one call and “Right foot” for the next.
- Handing the job of spinning to someone who is not on the mat, such as a younger sibling.
- Looking back at the calls afterward in the Results tab, which lists each move in the order it came up.
How to use the wheel
- Type or paste your options, one per line. The wheel redraws as you type.
- Press Spin, click the wheel, or press Ctrl+Enter while you are in the list.
- Read the pick. Remove it from the wheel if nobody should be picked twice, then spin again.
How the pick is made
Before the wheel moves, your browser draws one slice at random with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for security keys. Every slice has the same chance. The spin you watch only plays that result out.
Nothing about the animation changes the outcome: not how hard you click, not how long the wheel turns, not the size of your screen. The pointer always stops inside a slice, never on a line.
Your list stays in your browser. A link you copy carries the list inside the link itself, so nothing is uploaded.
Questions about the Twister spinner
- Is this site connected to Twister or Hasbro?
- No. The name only tells you which game the spinner is for. Hasbro and the makers of Twister have not endorsed this page, and it is not affiliated with them.
- Do I still need the Twister mat?
- Yes. The wheel replaces only the spinner. Players still put a hand or a foot on a circle of the called color on the mat.
- Why is each slice painted a color?
- So the color can be seen from the mat before the words are read. A red slice calls red, a green slice calls green, and the same goes for blue and yellow.
- Can the same move come up twice in a row?
- Yes. Each spin is independent, so the same body part, or even the very same move, can be called two times running.
